Due to the immense devastation of our beautiful little mountain town and all of western North Carolina, we’re raising funds to help those directly affected. Many of our own at 828 flies and the App State Fly Fishing club have already begun getting supplies to our neighbors who have been effectively “cut off” due to land slides, sink holes and biblical flooding. Funds from this fund raiser will go directly to supplies needed along with helping our own, and area guides who will be out of work for months due to the devastation. For those who have reached out inquiring on the shop and crew, thank you for your thoughts. We’re grateful everyone is safe and 828 Flies HQ was largely spared any major damages.
